2. Manual Mind Mapping: Brainstorm Without Limits

Jeda.ai now supports true manual mind mapping anywhere on your canvas, giving you freedom to structure ideas visually.

Steps:

1. Select an object on your canvas.

2. Press the Tab key → A new node is instantly created. Start typing directly into it.

3. While typing, press Tab → The entire object is selected, exiting text edit mode.

4. Press Tab again → A new node is created immediately. Start typing directly.
This reduces the need for excessive mouse clicks.

5. Click the connector plus icon → Creates a new child node just like the Tab key.

6. Parent node and connector remain in their own distinct colors.

7. Child node and connector inherit the color from their immediate parent.

8. Drag a connector from any existing object to an empty space → Create a new node wherever you need.

9. Customize connectors → Choose line styles (straight, dotted, dashed) and colors.
